Mexico City in the Network of Global Cities

“The emphasize of this paper is on Mexico City´s specific role in the process of economic globalization. The author argue that in the 1990´s Mexico City has become part of the crossborder network of global cities that constitutes the basic structure of today´s world economy. As a part of this network, Mexico City takes global city functions such as controlling, managing and servicing processes of globalization. The reader will find: 1.
